Career Day for High School Students
Mike Webb, SERVPRO of East Gainesville, Florida Marketing Manager represented SERVPRO as a vendor sponsor for 18-24 year old students looking for careers. The 3 day event allowed young people to visit the many companies who showcased their industry. SERVPRO is a leader in the Fire and Water Clean up and Restoration industry and Mike was happy to share his 18 years experience in the industry with many who attended.
SERVPRO of Ocala Supports the Marion County Animal Services
Mr. George Benger, our SERVPRO of Ocala Marketing Representative has been donating his time to train and help the rescued animals at the Marion County Animal Services. George has a kind heart for those in need which includes our furry friends. This type of caring attitude makes for a good SERVPRO professional as everyday SERVPRO of Ocala is called on the help with all types of damages. George asked if SERVPRIO of Ocala could donate toys to the Marion County Animal services and we are glad to help. A BIG thank you to George for his kindness and willingness to give of himself to such a noble cause. Night to Shine
SERVPRO of Ocala's Greg, Angie and Lauren Williams were volunteers at Tim Tebow's Night to Shine in Ocala. Night to Shine is a prom for people with special needs. Greg, Angie and Lauren were paired up with their partners for an unforgettable night of dancing, singing and an all out good time. It was such a special event for some very special people. Everyone involved from the volunteers to the over 150 guests are looking forward to next years event.
SERVPRO of Ocala CE Class
Its time again for CE classes for 2019 and SERVPRO of Ocala is hosting one April 9th Located at the College of Central Florida in Ocala Florida. Registration is at 8:30 and class starts at 9:00 Both Insurance Agents and Insurance Adjusters are welcome and a plus this year will be Community Association Managers (CAM) and Real Estates Agents who also need the CE hours. These ladies and gentlemen are responsible for managing large homeowner properties through out the counties and rely heavily on approved vendors like SERVPRO of Ocala. It is always exciting to present continuing education classes and get the opportunity to teach and display the varying tools and expertise of the Fire & Water Cleanup & Restoration industry.
SERVPRO of Ocala Open
SERVPRO of Ocala Marketing Manager, Mike Webb and Restoration Project Manager, John Sawkowski hosted the 2nd annual SERVPRO of Ocala Open Golf Tournament at Stoncreek Golf Club Ocala, Fl. Over 80 players attended many people from different backgrounds and business owner and community leaders. Most of the attendees where very much aware of how and what SERVPRO did. Some shared with Mike their stories how SERVPRO saved the day with their homes or businesses. SERVPRO of Ocala Open was able to raise money for "Stand up to Cancer" program in Marion, Sumter and Lake counties here in Florida. Also helping the boys and girls in the "junior Golf" program. SERVPRO of Ocala has been helping families and business in the tri counties for over 41 years and proud to be a leader in the Fire and Water cleanup and Restoration industry.
