What to do when your Sewer Backs Up.

When it comes to bad things like a sewer back up in your business, it's always smarter to be prepared. Know who your building facilitator is, know the City Maintenance number and know that SERVPRO of Ocala and SERVPRO of South Marion County's number is 352-732-6630! 

There are two types of "Sewage"- that which goes down the toilet (and subsequently the sewer drain) and that which come from exterior sources like a storm sewer.

If you have effluent (liquid waste) or a storm sewer back up through a floor drain in your business the first step is to call the appropriate contact (Building manager, City maintenance) and your local Restoration Company. You will presumably have these numbers in your contacts so you wont be calling all over looking for the right person while one of the nastiest jobs in plumbing soaks into every crack and crevice in your business.
